Rick Battershell, CPA
Rick has been in public accounting his entire career. He left Ernst & Young as a senior manager after working in their tax and small business practice for over seven years. Rick established his own CPA firm in 1992, then merged his practice with E&Y alum Robin Nichols to form Battershell & Nichols in 2009.
Rick is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a Master’s degree in Taxation. Rick’s passion is to help churches, pastors, businesses, and individuals manage their finances in a way that frees them to focus on their calling. Rick provides a number of services including:
- Providing state and IRS tax guidance and planning for businesses, individuals, pastors,
churches, and other charitable nonprofits to help minimize taxes - Consulting with businesses, churches, and not-for-profit organizations to strengthen
policies and procedures, maximize financial resources, and improve financial
management and controls
Rick loves working and sharing life with his best friend and wife of over 40 years. He loves spending time with family and friends, golfing, biking, walking, kayaking, worshipping with his guitar, reading a good book, and warm sun.
